Kansanga Seed Secondary School
Kansanga seed came out of pledge by His Excellency the president of the republic of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni 2008. The construction of the first block was constructed in 2014 and inaugurated by the President in September 2015. The school started admitting students in February 2015 and its first year of existance closed with a populatuion of 308 students and 12 teachers. The population of students has been increasing steadily and currently(2019), the population is 1305.
The school is a government school under KCCA, implementing the program of Universal Secondary Education(USE) and UPOLET. It has two stored classroom blocks; one block has six classrooms, two laboratories, computer lab and deputy’s office. The second block has nine classrooms and one level serves a double purpose of a hall and the same time classrooms. There exists Bio-gas toilets which serve a modern kitchen with energy saving stoves. At school there are teachers’ housing block.
Everyday at Kansanga Seed S.S is like a blessing with the active students and dedicated talented staff members around.
